Cloud Island Guide
Cloud Islands are separate multiplayer worlds where you can create your own unique environment with friends in Pokemon Pokopia. They are separate from the main game world.
How to Unlock
Environment Level 2 to unlock Link Play
Environment Level 3 to purchase Mysterious Goggles
Active Nintendo Switch Online membership
Stable internet connection
Access: Use Mysterious Goggles from inventory (purchased from PC Shop at Environment Level 3)
Key Characteristics
Separate World
Cloud Island is a separate world from the main game, mostly unaffected by each player's gameplay progress.
Separate Inventory
No access to main game items. Cloud Island has its own separate inventory.
Recipes Transfer
Recipes learned in Cloud Island are permanently kept in the main game — the key exception to the transfer rule.
Life Coins Shared
Life Coins are shared between the main game and Cloud Island.
Random Layout
Cloud Island layout is randomly generated and can be rerolled by recreating the island.
Pokémon Can Join
Pokémon befriended in your main game may ask to accompany you to Cloud Island.
Activities
Build Together
Create and decorate an island from scratch with friends.
Cloud Shop
Purchase items from Cloud Island's PC Shop — different catalogue from main game. Recipes are permanent.
Mini Games
Play Jump Rope and Hide-and-Seek with friends and Pokémon.
Photo Mode
Decorate Cloud Island for group photos. Pose and change expressions.
Tips
Prioritize buying recipes from Cloud Island shop — they transfer permanently to your main game.
Only one Cloud Island can be hosted at a time. Delete the existing one in Settings to create a new one.
Friends can enter your Cloud Island even when you're not playing.
Items cannot be transferred between Cloud Island and the main game (except recipes).
